Web Design

I was making websites as part of my small business marketing brand “Something Cool Creative.” I offered real estate photography services, small business photography (food, products, headshots, etc), copy writing and web design. I built a really cool website for that brand! I have not yet added it here, but the whole concept of the brand was based on the album Something Cool by June Christy. I wanted to replicate that fresh, cool, lemonade-on-a-hot-day feeling that is expressed throughout the album and album artwork.

Below are some of the websites I have made. I have used a variety of site builders: Wordpress, Squarespace, Wix, Bandzoogle, Sharepoint. I’m probably forgetting something here, but that’s okay. I’m comfortable using CSS and HTML and have done some custom CSS on this site (and on my beautiful Something Cool Creative site, waaaaah!). I have some Javascript experience. I totally get why it’s important and that it can do cool stuff but its not my favorite. It kinda seems arbitrary and has single-handedly turned me off to delving deeper into coding.
